Trekking & Rest in Chilean Patagonia 4 Days 3 Nights Program.

Day 1: Chaitén - Yelcho
Transportation from Chaitén to Yelcho en la Patagonia. Check-in at Hotel, Welcome drink and Lunch. In the afternoon we will travel 6 km. south and start our excursion to the Yelcho Glacier, through a path immersed in a rain forest, where there are an abundance of pangues (nalcas) and birds that surprise us as they cross through our path. It takes an hour to arrive at lookout area, where we will have a beautiful view of a number of waterfalls around us and the amazing glacier in the background. Then we return to the Hotel, have dinner and a good night sleep.


Day 2: Yelcho - Pumalín
Breakfast. Leave Hotel towards Caleta Gonzalo, an hour and a half from the Hotel we will arrive at Pumalín Park, here we will hike through the Sendero Alerces Milenarios (Millenary Larch Path) and Cascadas Escondidas (Hidden Waterfalls). At noon we will enjoy a box lunch. During our hike we will be able to see the Michinmahuída Volcano from different angles. In the afternoon we will return to the Hotel, have dinner and a good night sleep.


Day 3:Yelcho -El Amarillo Glacier - Hot Springs
Breakfast. Today we will go to El Amarillo area, which is at the south entrance to the Pumalín Park, where we will hike on a path towards the Michinmahuida Volcano Glacier, at the beginning we will be immersed in the forest, and it will be possible to see different types of birds such as, the Black Woodpecker, the Chucao, the Guet-guet and the Martín Pescador among others; and animals such as the Pudú and the Guillín. Then we will follow the Amarillo River, which we will have to cross over twice to get to base of the glacier that falls from the top of the Volcano. On our way back we will take a detour to the El Amarillo Hot springs so we can have a relaxing moment in 55º C water rich in minerals, ideal to end the day. Return to the Hotel, have dinner and a good night sleep.


Day 4: : Yelcho - Chaitén
Breakfast and return to Chaitén. End of Program.
