Corral of The Horses.
We have designed this trip for those that want to experience a real Horseback riding
adventure by the Andes, during a week. During the trip we will know beautiful
valleys, rivers, thermal waters and impressive mountain range summits, accompanied
by an experienced team of guides and muleteers, exquisite food and animated nights
with music and histories under the stars. It is an incredible journey of 6 days to
the Corral of the Horses (Corral de los Caballos). This riding tour will lead us to
the heights of the Andes Mountain Range where Waterfall of the Souls operation base
is found at Maipo River Valley. We have designed this trip for those that want to
live a true riding experience by the Andes during a week. We will pass for high
mountainous strings and visit beautiful valleys, rivers and thermal baths. This
is a stimulating trip guided by experienced muleteers, where we will enjoy exquisite
food accompanied by music under the stars.
Day 1
Departure from Waterfall of the Souls at Maipo River Valley. The riding will start
after a comforting breakfast. We will ascent by the mountain range continuing the
path that leads us to "Paso Maqui" toward "Rincón del Rodeo" valley. Once weŽll
arrive to the camp area and after conditioning the camp we will have sufficient
time to explore the surrounding area. Camp: "Rincón de las Mariposas."
Day 2
We will ride along the "Rincón del Rodeo"valley, ascending toward the heart of
the mountain range and stop to have lunch and to rest during the route. The
panoramic view since this place its incredible. At the end of the day we will
arrive to "Estero del Coyanco" and we will camp here, near its crystalline waters
surrounded by flowers. Camp: "Casa de Piedras de las Yaretas."
Day 3
We will continue our ride along the "Estero del Coyanco" trough beautiful and
fertile plains; 3.400 meters high, eventually we will reach our destiny, "Corral
de los Caballos". In this place "Estero del Coyanco" borns, a magical place with
spectacular waterfalls and pozas. Camp: "Corral de los Caballos".
Day 4
Today we will rest and we will be able to walk in the surrounding areas of the
place or to do short ridings by the beautiful valleys and nearby canyons. Camp:
"Corral de los Caballos."
Day 5
We will ride ascending toward the birth of the "Estero el Manzanito", trough
beautiful fertile plains and sides. Camp: "Rincón de las Perdices."
Day 6
Return to Waterfall of the Souls Nature Sanctuary. It will be a stimulating day
that will lead us by a route with incredible views of Maipo Valley. We will
stop to have lunch at "Estero El Pangal".
Arrive to our corrals.
A comforting soft drink will be expecting us after the trip at Waterfall of the Souls restaurant.
