BASIC SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA.




Day 1: SANTIAGO DE CHILE / CALAMA / SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
Reception at Calama airport; transfer to hotel in San Pedro nearly 100 km away. Arrival to San Pedro (2.436 mts above sea level). Accommodation at hotel. Free morning for touring this charming village located near the north side of the great salt deposit of Atacama. San Pedro is perhaps one of the places of Chile which offers the widest number of attractions. Among them you will fin de Archeological Museum, the oldest church in Chile, a moon like place known as "Valle de la Luna", some salt caverns, and many interesting places. Lodging.


Day 2: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA / LAGUNAS ALTIPLANICAS
Early morning departure (7.00) to Toconao. Visit the Jerez Valley, admiring the beautiful flamingos in Chaxa Lagoon. Then we will continue to Menique and Miscante lagoons located at 4.000 mt altitude. Return to San Pedro. Lodging.


Day 3: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA / EL TATIO GEYSERS /SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
Departure at 4.00 a.m. for a full-day tour to the Tatio gaysers. After watching this wonder of nature you can relax on the temperate pools (35º C). Return to San Pedro.


Day 4: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA / CALAMA / SANTIAGO DE CHILE
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to airport in Calama to take flight to Santiago.
