History |
Thousands of years behind walking for the latitude 20º SOUTH, what is today the Big North of Chile, the members of the Tiawanako culture traveled with their families arid lands guided by a called spiritual boss " Chamán ". This guided them for the paths that he knew perfectly so that they arrived without danger, after a long trip, to their final destination.
Today this Chamán is represented in the biggest geoglífo of Chile with 86 meters high, well-known as the Giant of Atacama, located at 70 km of the Iquique city in the hill denominated UNITA.
The same way like makes thousands of years behind, today in the XXI century, in honor to its design of to guide and to protect its people in trafficking for the desert, we have intended to guide and to protect to all that that he/she wants to travel these arid lands in vegetation but rich in history, treasures and customs.
Because to that noble reason, we have are named ourselves with the name of this hill were there is his geoglífo. |
