It is interesting to visit Cotacotani Lagoons, where their main attraction is their emerald - colored waters. These in a cluster make up the lagoons that interconnected to one another due to volcanic eruptions.
Another tour attraction is Chungara Lake, at an altitude of 4.570 meters. It is considered the highest lake all over the world. Its waters are emerald - colored. It is surrounded by snow - capped peaks like Parinacota and Sajama.
There are diverse footpaths in the park that allows to appreciate the majestic of the pre - mountain range and the plateau, and its landscape, vegetation and fauna. One of them is the eight kilometers long Cotacotani excursion footpath and the Chungara footpath, 100 meters in length.

Located 30 kilometers northwest of Chaaral.
This park is characterized for it´s under developed coastline plain and a coast headland with a maximum altitude of 800 m.a.s.l. Traversed by numerous gorges. This headland allows to appreciate most beautiful scenic sites such as Las Lomitas and The Lookerout.
Also the interesting island with the Humbolt penguins.
In this park are two beautiful beaches such as Laguna Blanca and Los Piqueros.
This park gathers representative samples of marine life and continental parched ecosystem fauna such as Chungungos, one-hair wolves and the Humbolt penguins. CONAF keeps a service rendering office, a museum, an exhibit saloon and an environmental information center.
The park has a camping site, a mini market, a restaurant and baths, and two lodging cabins.
On the coast there are arrangements of a boat float of fishers and there is the possibility of taking boat and launch sailing.

Located in the Copiapo Pre - Mountain range.
The Nevado Tres Cruces National Park with its 59.082 hectares presents attractions like the mountain range lagoons, the peaks and a great diversity of fauna.
The foundation of this nevado has the object of preserving the Andean ecosystems such as Santa Rosa lagoon, the Maricunga Salt Pit and the Negro Francisco lagoon.
Its area is distributes into two sections: Santa Rosa Lagoon and Maricunga Salt Pit with an area of 46.944 hectares and Negro Francisco lagoon with an area of 12.137 hectares.
During 1996 Santa Rosa and Negro Francisco Lagoons were declared "Ramsar Sites", meaning mayor international humid soils for the conservation of the aquatic birds, a certification that was delivered to the Chilean Government by the Permanent Committee of the Humid Soils Convention with a seat in Berna, Switzerland.
Together with the high peaks, CONAF offers two shelters. The first one to the south of Negro Francisco Lagoon, fitted with a kitchen, a bedroom and baths. The second shelter or housing is on the western banks of Santa Rosa Lagoon and it does not have running neither water or a restroom.

It is located 674 kilometers away from the continent, on the Pacific Ocean.
This archipelago has been declared a National Park by the Chilean Government and Worldwide Biosphere Reserve as a legate for Humankind (UNESCO 1977), since in it there is the most quantity of endemic flora and fauna species of the world.
Area: 18.300 hectares of which 9.300 hectares belong to Robinson Crusoe island. An 8.500 hectares belong to Alejandro Selkirk Island. And 500 hectares to Santa Clara island.
History: In XVII and XVIII centuries, the islands were visited and utilized as occasional shelters by the corsairs.
The archipelago got a legendary relief all over the world, by the issuing in 1719, of the book "The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe" whose author Daniel Defoe based himself on the adventures lived through by the Scott sailsman Alejandro Selkrik, who lived in the island for 4 years.
Fishes: The sea of a great attraction for fishing and submarine sports. Besides the traditional lobster there is a great variety of fishes: vidriola, flying fish, modema, bacalao, salmon and pampanitos.
Fauna: Among the birds are outstanding the reds humming bird, the rayadito. The mammals of Juan Fernandez are mostly species introduced like the goat, the rabbit, and the rats. Also it is possible to find marine mammals like the wolf of two hairs and the seal.
In the small bays, flocks of seals and communities of maritime birds (fardelas) live without fear of man.
Gastronomy: Among the typical dishes of the island are the cebiche (raw fish cut into small pieces with lemon), and the peroe (a dish based on lobsters).
Handicraft: The islanders do wood work (crosses and sandalwood) and on seashells do a collar, bracelets and rings.
The access is by air, including a land leg and a maritime one to reach Cumberland bay, an only population.

It is located 250 kilometers north of Punta Arenas and 125 kilometers northeast of Puerto Natales.
A cluster of lakes, lagoons, rivers and vestiqueros of varied shades, of turquoise blue around a mountain mass where Torres de Granito and Cuernos del Paine emerge, produced by the glazier wear out into an extensive pampas landscape.
It is located between the Andes mountain range and the Patagonian steppe covering an area of 181.414 hectares.
Formed by an impressive Andean Mountain mass, surrounded by glaziers, waterfalls, lakes and lagoons.
The building up of the peaks of the mountain cause an impact on all who have had an occasion to know it, giving the region a shape since the beginning of the century.
It is made up by several mountains and typical geological formations called: Paine Chico (2.160 meters), Paine Grande (3.050 meters) and Paine Medio (2.670 meters). Outstanding in the context the Torres del Paine - Towers of Paine.
The major scenic beauty is in the areas: Grey Lake and Glazier. Salto Grande. Salto Chico. Paine Mountain range. And the base of the Torres del Paine - Towers of Paine.
