STREET FAIRS AND EVENTS

All year round
In the east sector of Santiago, in the end of Apoquindo Av.is located the Chilean handicraft center of Graneros del Alba, better known as Pueblito de Los Dominicos where you will be able to visit the 180 shops and also to buy pieces of national craft. The center has a botanical garden and a sector of antique dealers.

September
ExpoGourmand. It is carried out in Casa Piedra, Vitacura area in Monseñor Escrivá de Balaguer 5.600. It considers chats, chef tournaments, gastronomic samples of international and Santiagos best restaurants.

October
FISA, International Fair of Santiago (4th Week), in the Ferial park Fisa-Maipú, 10339, Melipilla route. Duration: eleven days. In a surface of 33 hectares it carried out the bigger business fair of Latin America, with a participation of countries of America, Europe, Asia and Africa

November
(1t Week) it carried out the richest and complete handicraft sample of the country. The International Fair of Craft is organized by the Catholic University of Chile and it is developed in the Parque Bustamante.

International Book Fair of Santiago (4th Week)
During 11 days it carried out this fair In the Estación Mapocho. National and foreigners writers present their works in public forums. They are exposed and sell its old and new literary editions, and every day at 18 o clock there are cultural activities.

Muestra de Dramaturgía Nacional
It is a contest run by the Communications and Culture Secretary of Chiles Department of Culture. This special theater event is open to all Chilean authors and playwrights, the event exhibits a collection of the best theatrical pieces from the contest. This event gives fresh talent a chance to exhibit and develop their potential.

Música Junto al Río
Is Outdoor music performances takes place beside the Mapocho River.
