The center of Viña del Mar is composed by seven blocks which limit to the east with the José Francisco Vergara Square and, to the west, with the Castillo Mountain.

Caleta Abarca Beach. It is located in the heart of Viña, protected by a bay. It has white sands and a calm sea. It counts with restaurants, coffee shops, discos, dressing rooms and showers. Las Salinas Beach. It is located 2 kilometers to the north of Viña del Mar. It is a spa that was built in 1930. Its beach is protected from the wind and it has calm waters preferred by families and children. It possesses restaurants, dressing rooms and showers. Portales Beach. It is located between Viña del Mar and Valparaiso; its calm beach has a pedestrian walkway along the coast plenty of restaurants. Los Marineros Beach. This beach presents with white sands; it is an opened region with deep sea and strong waves. It is not suited for swimming. Acapulco Beach. This beach is located between the Peru Avenue and The Muelle Vergara. It contains white sands and it is protected by surrounding buildings.
