Distance: 23 Kilometers away from La Serena

The Elqui Valley is one of the most visited places of the country because of its landscapes related to the extraterrestrial phenomena.

Besides, and thanks to its weather conditions, the best “piscos” are produced here. Moreover, it is an excellent region for astronomic research.

It is the birthplace of the greatest female poet of the country, and literature Nobel Prize winner, Gabriela Mistral.
