Chaiten Town

The capital of the province of Palena, in the region of Los Lagos. It has good communications with the rest of the region through an aerodrome and a port with a breakwater and the entering ramp that allows the arrival of the Ferryboats coming from Chonchi to Chiloe.

This town is the center of services of communications and the commerce.

Cardenas Port

Puerto Quellon

Distance: 75 Kilometers away from Chiloe

It comprises the southern region of the island of Chiloe.

Quellon is considered the main port and the most southern part the Chiloe Island. It receives the entire product of the collection of shellfish south of the island.

The Panamerican highway ends up in this port, and the Ferryboats leave from here toward Aisen in the Eleventh Region.

Its rocky coasts make it the way for the abundance of molusks and crustaceans, which give it a special attraction to lovers of good seafood gastronomy.

Cochamo Valley
