Torres del Paine National Park
Distance: 140 Kilometers away from Puerto Natales
It is considered the most attractive site of the region. It covers an area of 181,000 hectares and it is located in the gulf of Ultima Esperanza.
Animal species like pumas, guanacos, hares, woodpeckers, eagles, king - fishers, condors and others will be observed in the park.
Torres del Paine Park possesses a great beauty placed on pathways for hiking that run along the pampa regions. This park has three gateways: Portería Sarmiento, Amarga Lagoon and Blue Lagoon. It has paths for trekking that go over different passages of the pampas: Magallean thick woods, lagoons with ice bergs and impressive glaziers. This entire region is surrounded by huge rock bulks; the most famous one is "Los Cuernos del Paine".
