Lauca National Park

Distance: 145 Kilometers away from Arica

The Lauca Park, unique in the world, was declared a worldly reserve by The UNESCO, due to the fact that here, the lake with the richest flora and fauna of the Andean ecosystem is situated: The Chungará Lake, 4.570 meters high.

It has a surface of 137,883 hectares. It presents rains in summer and snow in winter, the climate is dry.
