Alberto M. De Agostini National Park
Alberto M. De Agostini National Park, located 80 nautical miles to the west
of Punta Arenas; it has an area of 1.460.000 hectares. It has a great number of
glaziers and snow - drifts.
ˇ Marinelli Glazier, it is the most beautiful and extensive, with imposing
high walls of ice and glazier gateways.
ˇ De Angostini Glazier protected on its sides by tall barriers of mountains
and where one can get off board on ice.
Sailing on the Pacific waters, bordering part of the De Agostini National Park
one reaches the route toward Beagle Channel surrounded by a landscape with
abundant vegetation on its banks, icebergs floating adrift and abundant seals wolfs.
