Main Activity: Tourism and Agriculture

The city of the same name is very famous thanks to its clay ceramics, loom weavings and its countryside typical gastronomy. In different localities, traditional feasts are celebrated such as the Rodeo and other horsemanship activities.

It is interesting to visit historic places like the old house of Policarpio Toro, The Santa Rosa of Chocalan Chapel and the Tacita stone historic-archaeological route.
