Its privileged  climatic condition makes Iquique an attractive destination to visit at any time of the year. Its beaches, shopping, free zone, casino, restaurants and a huge quality hotel offering which  invite national and international tourists to experience unforgettable moments.

Iquique, located in the north of Chile, to 1,840 kilometers north of Santiago, is characterized by  its beautiful natural beaches (the most important are:el Aguila, Cavancha, Lobito, Primeras piedras, Brava, Los Verdes and Huayquique), an  remarkable architectural heritage achieved in the golden age of the salt industry, a rich history, beautiful landscapes, archeology and spectacular valuable oasis full of contrasts, which combines the colorful mountains and volcanoes, with the particularity of ancient people.
One of the most beautiful tours of this city is in the traditional streets Baquedano Avenue, with its style houses, Astoreca Palace, the Spanish Casino and the Municipal Theatre, an architectural jewel of nitrate splendor.

Other important tourist attractions are within Tarapaca region, where you can feel the rich history in "Santiago Humberstone", at 47 kilometers northeast of Iquique, declared a World Heritage by UNESCO.

You can also find the Picaand Matilla  oasis, at 120 kilometers Iquique's southeast , with citrus agricultural productions, and enjoy the water in  The Saladero, huge tunnels built by the Spanish which belonged to the followers of Peter Valdivia.

Farther inside Pica is the area where there are the dinosaur footprints, the Salar del Huasco and the beautiful village of Lirima. Another option is to visit Mamiña, ancient town located at 130 kilometers northeast of Iquique, where its thermal waters are curative for who enjoy them. Today you can easily access to this place through a paved road that offers expedited hitch and from where you can see the area where is located the copper producing mine Cerro Colorado Mining Company, very close to the ancestral village of Parca.
