· Frutillar, a picturesque city of extraordinary landscapes, and outstanding construction with German reminiscence - Hotels Booking ·

Tourism in Frutillar city

Distance: 50 Kilometers away from Puerto Montt
Main Activity: Tourism, Agriculture and Cattle Raising

A town located at 83 km from Osorno. It was founded in 1856 as loading harbour.

A picturesque city of extraordinary landscapes, and outstanding construction with German reminiscence. It is characterized for its old houses of German style with ample gardens.

Currently it is an ideal summer spot. It has hotels, hostels, restaurants and tourism service.

In the last 20 years, Frutillar has experienced a strong recovery in the tourism activity. It has kept the urbanites style that the German Colonists imposed who settled in this agriculture, cattle-raising and forest zone 142 years ago.

It has developed the hostelry, gastronomic, nautical, sports fishing sectors and others that together with the other recreation and customary events, offer a varied spectrum of activities that our visitors can perform.
