From Puerto Montt to the town of Hornopiren, a 110 kilometers journey will take you directly to Caleta Gonzalo.

The camping area Los Arrayanes is placed in the 50th km, close to the beach, and by following the 56th km, you will arrive to Chaitén.

Chaitén. It is the capital of the province of Palena. It has good tourist infrastructure (restaurants and camping areas).

There is a paved aerodrome with daily flights to Puerto Montt.

It is interesting to walk along the shore boulevard and visit the Corcovado Volcano.

Puerto Cardenas. It is located 48 kilometers from Chaitén. This is a small fishermen town. From Puerto Cardenas, there are fishing journeys to the Yelcho Lake.

Lago Yelcho. A beautiful lake formed by glaciers. It presents emerald-green waters. From Puerto Cardenas, there are journeys around the lake and if you want to practice fishing, the trip should take from 1 to 6 days.

It is interesting to visit the tourist complex of Yelcho in the Patagonia.

Palena. By following the road from Puerto Ramirez, you can arrive to the town of Palena, a small town that counts with all basic services and an aerodrome. Among its principal activities, it is possible to mention fishing in the Palena River (especially salmon) from October to December.
