Tourism in English Bay

Distance: 5 kilometers away from Caldera

A bay located at 105 kilometers from Copiapo and only 5 kilometers from Caldera. It was known as English Part after the ship Bachelor, commanded by the English corsar Edward Davis, landed in this bay in 1687.

This bath very is known by its white sand beaches and burnishes temperature of the water. The bath has a great variety of lodgings like cabins, motels, camping and leasing of houses during the summer season.

It is interesting to visit La Piscina, Las Machas, Rocas Negras, the Morro, Blanca and the Chuncho beaches.

In the north side, Piscina beach stands out, enclosed by rocks, the space inside with coves appropriate for swimming.

You can get to Bahía Inglesa from Santiago to Copiapó by plane, public transport or car. The journey by plane from Santiago takes 1 hr 15 minutes, then you reach Caldera by road, 75 km from Copiapó.

If you are traveling by car from Copiapó to Bahía Inglesa along the Panamericana highway, you will find a turn off about 66 km along, which you need to take for 6 km until you reach the resort.

In Bahía Inglesa you must visit:
