City Tour to the South Coast of Valparaíso
South Coast of Valparaíso:
It comprises the coast section from Playa de Tunquen to the spa of Santo Domingo to the south. It contains several spas, Algarrobo is one of the most important.
From Valparaiso and Viña del Mar, there is not yet a road that goes directly to these, so, it is necessary to take the roads from Santiago.
Algarrobo. A summer city which is considered one of the most beautiful and well- attended of this sector. Its waters are calm and ideal for water sports. It is interesting to visit here:
- Club of Yates - Cofradia Pacific Nautical - Islote Pajaros Niños Santuary - San Pedro Beach - Canelo and Canelillo Beaches
El Quisco. A city that is located 4 kilometers from Algarrobo. There are two defined areas there: the Northern Quisco and the Southern Quisco; the last one is considered an attractive zone for tourism because of its social and urban center. It is interesting to visit:
- Club of Yates - Pablo´Neruda House - Costanera Sidewalk - Punta de Tralca (located 3 kilometers to south from El Quisco) – Negra Island (located 4 kilometers to the south from El Quisco).
Pablo Neruda`s House. A place where the poet lived an important part of his life. His tomb is placed in its gardens. Pablo Neruda built this house by himself; here, he kept his collection of figureheads and several nautical objects.
The visit starts in the surroundings of the house where there is a projection room, a library with Neruda´s works and a good place to have lunch or a cup of coffee.

Las Cruces. This city is located 8 kilometers to the north of Cartagena. It is a traditional spa that was founded in the beginnings of the 20th century. It is interesting to visit the beaches of Blanca, Pescadores and Salinas.
Among other spa-towns of the zone, it is possible to mention: Caratagena (a small beach with a nice bay)- San Antonio (a small city with a funny night activity)- Llolleo (located 4 kilometers to the south from San Antonio).
